Life without a Vision

Goals are individual experiences and accomplishments in life you strive for. A vision is the bigger picture. Your life’s vision defines who you want to be, what you want to be known for and the set of experiences and exposure you aim for in your life.

Your vision helps you define the goals by giving you a platform to evaluate those goals.

When you have no personal vision, you’re just wandering through life without a clear direction or end goal. Your loyalty to your life is scattered as you live your life to serve your job, the expectations of others and short term gains.

We live vicariously through the lives of others. We often tend to copy and replicate the lifestyles of other’s. Have we ever questioned ourselves, what shall I do in my life? What is my life vision?. Most of us wouldn’t have even bothered about it.

In today’s world of social media, We’re too busy making everyone else feel jealous of a life that we personally dislike. We end up doing nothing and sometimes get lost. And that’s why having a personal vision is so important as it helps us focus on the things that really matter.

Can anyone imagine a company without a vision statement?

No. It’s the soul of a company, it defines why and how of a company’s existence. It keeps everyone focused on a single path towards the achievement of a goal.

I meet people who are stuck and have that hopeless look in their eyes, like they’re just passing time in life without joy or aspiration , those people don’t have a vision. Many of them don’t even have long term goals and they are just living a mechanical life as if they are living for the sake of others.

Life without a vision is just like a bird without a feather!

Your purpose explains what you are doing with your life. Your vision, on the other hand explains how you are living your purpose. Your goals enable you to realize your vision. Besides that, until and unless you are visionary, you are bound to lack foresight for life.

If you are working on something that you really care about, you don’t have to be pushed. The vision pulls you.

Create the highest possible grandest vision for your life, because you become what you believe. Vision is the art of seeing what is invisible to others. A clear vision, backed with definite plans, gives you a tremendous feeling of confidence and personal power.

Focus on your own happiness, focus on your own life, focus on your vision.
